The cast is faultless and they all seem to have a good laugh playing their tongue in cheek characters. A mysterious plot, Reaser's wonderfully committed performance and some unsettling imagery combine to make this one the most intriguing of the shorts. Although "Mirari" is nothing groundbreaking, it's nice to see Dante having fun behind the camera again.

Mick Garris (known for his adaptations of Stephen King's stories n the creator of Masters of Horror) directs the sequences of the theatre where characters from all the segments eventually turn up.
